Well-known youth fishing Captains Justin Warriner and Sean Firkins will present the following clinics during the Greater Niagara Fishing Expo:

Youth Bass Fishing Clinic: Learning the basics on fishing lakes, rivers and ponds for bass. This is an in-depth class on how to properly fish and understand what to fish, from gear to use and how to use it. This seminar will focus on kids from 10-16 years old. Come with your questions, as Captain Sean and Captain Justin focus on getting kids fishing. Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.

Youth Steelhead Fishing Clinic: Learn the basics on how to float fish the Great Lakes tributaries. This seminar focuses on kids aged 10-16 years old. Captain Sean and Captain Justin go through step by step on what, how, and why, from rods, line, weighters, floats and more! Making the future better one cast at a time! Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

Fishing the banks of Allegheny streams, lakes and creeks at age 3 is where Justin got his first taste of fishing with his father and great-grandfather. The love of fishing began the first time he set his hook and caught his first rainbow trout.
Through high school Justin and his best friend Chris began fishing the Erie Canal, Lake Niagara, Lake Erie and Niagara River. It turned into salmon fishing at Burt Dam to branching out to the Salmon River and everywhere in between.
At the age of 14, Scott, a high school mentor and teacher, took him bass fishing. That's where the sport of bass fishing became a passion. The love of the open water, the competition between other bass fishermen has turned into getting his Captain's license and NY state guide license, he is all set to share the waters with you!
Justin has placed in many tournaments. From making the New York Bass Nation State team in 2018, placing 6th in the Canadian Tire Open, winning the WNY bassmaters classic in 2018, Team of the year and aoy in 2019, along with multiple club wins.

From fly fishing to Bass fishing, Walleye fishing, and Salmon fishing, join him in sharing God's Beauty!

Captain Sean, owner of Angling Edge Charters, has been fishing the WNY waters for a little over 20 years. His dad got him into the sport at a very young age. Starting with the WNY Junior Bassmasters and other local club-level tournaments. That led him to expand into the vast multi-species fishing our area has to offer. From light tackle salmon and trout, after dark walleye, trophy smallmouth, giant perch and ice fishing. Sean received his USCG license in 2019 and NYS Guides license in 2022. He is currently on pro-staff with Keitech USA and Chaddy Boys LLC.
