Mike Ariola

Carpet Mike's journey, I started fishing at a young age along side my best friend Joe you could find us almost every day or night on sage creek in a john boat catching or spearing many species of fish. Fast forward to high school at mexico fishing for salmon in the creek behind the school. After years in the flooring buisness aka Carpet Mike I got a call from a long time friend to see if I wanted to be a mate on the other woman with a long time captain Ron Hill, I was quickly hooked and loved it. Ron eventually retired and led me to working for some other awesome captains, Son of a gun charters and Johnny Wisgo. I have been part time for the past few years with Adam from northeastern along with working at Sonnys fishing center and previously with Fat Nancys. I spent 25 years in the flooring buisness because I enjoyed helping people; fishing has been the exact same thing -- helping people catch more fish. Whether in the shop or on the boat, I love what I do and have met so many amazing people over the years.
