Matt Guerra

With more than 20 years on Lake Michigan-and the last seven spent running charters-Matt Guerra has built a reputation as one of Michigan City, Indiana's most dedicated salmon fishermen. He started in an 18-foot boat and now fishes from a 37-footer, running over 150 trips each season from March through September, while chasing coho/king salmon and lake trout across southern Lake Michigan. Matt competes in every major Michigan City tournament, winning the Pro-Am, earning second and third-place finishes, and capturing this year's club championship. Known for his passion for spring coho trolling and practical, real-world techniques, Matt enjoys helping anglers become more confident and successful on the water.
