I own and operate Black Jack Charters. I started fishing with my father and brothers at age 8 in the creeks of Central PA where I grew up. In 2008 I lost my brother to brain cancer. He traveled to Lake Ontario and its Tribs fishing for Salmon and Steelhead and always brought home trophy fish and many pictures of his adventures with friends. In 2002 I decided to gather some friends and chase the same journey my brother had, From the first Salmon Strike that bent my Ugly Stick on the Salmon river until now I continue to share my addiction with my clients every day we wet the lines.
After many charters with various veteran captains on the Eastern end of Lake Ontario, I obtained my captains license and chose Mexico Bay for home base. The biggest fuel to the fire was others suggesting how tough it would be to get started and be successful on my own. The challenge of boating salmon on a daily basis continues to fuel my fire to be on the cutting edge each trip. I am a member of multiple Pro Staff teams and am excited to share what I have learned with fellow fisherman.
