Kip Mammano

Captain Kip Mammano, of Rochester Sport Fishing Charters is a Rochester native and a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh. Kip is passionate about the outdoors. An Avid snowboarder, snowmobiler, hunter, and fisherman. It is that last one (fisherman) that truly defines Kip. He has had a pole in his hand and fish on the mind since he was 4 years old. He purchased his first set of down riggers at the age of 13, and began chartering directly after college. Fast forward 30+ years and Kip Mammano is now Lake Ontario's most dedicated fishing captain. Over just the last 5 years, Rochester Sport Fishing is responsible for putting over 30 fish on the LOC derby board. Including 3- First Place finishes, and Kip's greatest accomplishment to date, winning the Grand Prize in the Spring 2021 Derby. While running a full time charter, Kip makes time to participate in a couple local tournaments where he has led his team to 4- Top 5 finishes in the last three years.
