Julia Stechenfinger

Julia Stechenfinger is a sixteen-year-old angler from Cheektowaga NY that has been fishing since she was five. Her Dad introduced her to the outdoors at an early age and she wouldn't have developed such a passion if it wasn't for him.

There is nothing she would rather do than be out on the water. She loves fishing for walleye, bluegill, catfish, trout, bass, etc. She especially loves tournament fishing in Lake Erie. Anytime she has the opportunity to do that, she takes it. She came in first place in the Lunker Angler Derby in 2018, third place in the 32nd Annual Southtowns Walleye Derby in 2016, participated in the Chautauqua conservation club tournament, and placed in several other competitions. When she's not fishing, she volunteers for the Southtowns Walleye Association, and has won Youth of the Year two years in a row.

This is Julia's first time doing a seminar and she is excited to educate young anglers because they are the future of the outdoor industry.
