Hunter Swoope

Hunter Swoope, age 18, has a true passion for the great outdoors. Hunter favorite time of year for steelhead is late fall and early spring with his centerpin; he also likes to get the browns in the late fall. Hunter ties his own jigs and sacs for steelhead and browns. Hunter also fishes all year round from the Lakes to the tributaries in the Western New York area. He mostly fishes Lake Ontario streams, and his home stream is Burt Dam. Hunter has a big social media following for fishing. He has picked up a few sponsors over the years, including Tribs Reels.

Hunter's Advice: "What I like about the pin is how stealthy it is and that there is no drag. It can take some time to learn but there are many ways to get information: ask other fishermen for advice, study videos on YouTube, or go to centerpin shops.
