Colleen Keefer is a Fish Biologist at the Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office in Basom, New York. She works in the aquatic invasive species early detection and monitoring program leading the collection of environment DNA (eDNA) samples. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from SUNY Brockport and her Masters in Great Lakes Ecosystem Science from Buffalo State University. Colleen spends her free time gardening, baking, hiking, and enjoying life with her husband and energetic 2-year-old.
