I first saw fly fishing when I was on vacation in the Adirondacks and took an immediate liking to the sport. I started fly fishing when I was 13. I was for the most part self-taught growing up in Western New York. I would frequently visit the local Orvis store to learn the more technical side of the sport. I really fell in love with the small stream trout fishing. I've had the pleasure of traveling to many places from Florida to Quebec. It has been very nice working at the Orvis store in Williamsville and given the opportunity to be able teach students almost all year round.
