Blake Yant

Blake has been fishing Lake Michigan and its surrounding tributaries his entire life. At the age of 14 he started working as a first mate on the charter boats blanketing West Michigan harbors. Through high school, college, and even after college Blake has continued to work on the charter boats to keep tabs on the ever-changing salmon and trout fishery in Michigan. Along with running over 1,000's of trips on Lake Michigan, Blake has also been fishing pro-division salmon tournaments aboard the EZ Limits for the past 5 years. The EZ Limits tournament team is the youngest team in the Lake Michigan Tournament Trail pro-division circuit, and out of 18 pro-division tournaments they have racked up 13 top 3 finishes. Blake's favorite thing about fishing the Great Lakes is the camaraderie in the fishing community and learning the behavioral patterns of salmon, trout, and walleye that call the Great Lakes home.
