Captain Richard Hajecki is a Lake Ontario charter captain specializing in big water trolling for Salmon and Trout with over 35yrs experience. Captain Hajecki owns and operates the Yankee Troller, a 33' Trojan 10 Meter, from the ports of Rochester, Wilson, and Oak Orchard Creek. He also operates a 21' Lund on Lake Ontario when most people's boats are put away for Winter storage, and on Oneida Lake in the Fall chasing Walleye.

Captain Hajecki maintains an active role in the fishery. Currently, he is the VP of the Lake Ontario Charter Boat Association (LOCBA), he runs the Orleans County Open, and he is a standing member of LOTSA and NACO. Captain Hajecki is also well known for his participation on LakeOntarioUnited.com, his fishing reports on social media, and his website. Captain Hajecki is probably best known for his accomplishments on the Lake Ontario tournament trail. His teams have 20 wins and over 40 top 5 placings dating back to the early 2000s.
